The AI-powered Decision Hub for capital-intensive enterprises.

Capital decisions are largely irreversible. The investment committed today shapes what the business can and cannot do for the next decade. The strategic question that can take weeks of analysis now takes a minute, and the answer traces back to the same model the board signs off on. Weissr builds AI that earns its place in that decision.

WHAT WEISSR CAPEX AI DOES TODAY

Your capex data can already answer most of the questions. Weissr Capex makes sure you can ask them.

Weissr Capex AI is built into Capex Strategy and Capex Management. Ask a question in plain language. The system retrieves the answer from your actual capex data, takes you to the right record, and cites the underlying rows. What you can see in the product, you can ask about.

CAPEX STRATEGY

Your strategic model, available on demand.

  • Ask which strategic alternative has the highest overall NPV. The answer traces back to your model, with the underlying rows cited.
  • Retrieve cash flow data for a specific alternative by time period, cost type or geography. One question. The source rows are always visible.
  • Navigate directly to any alternative in one command.

Coming next: multi-alternative comparison. “What is the combined opex and investment for Alts 2 and Base?” Totals, deltas and averages calculated directly on your model.

CAPEX MANAGEMENT

Catch portfolio issues before they are committed.

  • Filter the portfolio in plain language: “All requests over €500K that haven’t been approved yet.” The system filters within your access level, nothing more.
  • Ask about the budget status, approval state or spend position of any capex request.
  • Navigate to any request in one step.

Coming next: portfolio-level summarisation. “Summarise all capex requests over €1M from the past year.” Plus threshold flagging across the full project portfolio before the quarter closes.

THE AI ROADMAP

Three shifts in how AI shows up in capex software

Capex management moves from workflow tool to autonomous execution in three shifts. Here is where we are in that progression, and why we are deliberate about the pace. Each new capability is tested and adopted by customers before the next is enabled. We would rather move at the speed our customers can absorb than ahead of it.

SHIFT 1 — WHERE WE ARE
2025-2026 · Copilot

AI that informs

Ask Weissr a question. It retrieves the answer from your capex data, cites the source rows, and takes you to the right record. The human still owns every decision. Weissr Capex AI shortens the distance to a well-informed decision.

SHIFT 2 — PREPARING
2027-2029 · Agentic

AI that acts, under supervision

Agents take ownership of end-to-end workflows: project intake, scenario analysis, change orders, post-investment reviews, rate-case filings. Each one submitted for human approval. Authority is delegated, not assumed.

SHIFT 3 — BEYOND
2028+ · Redefinition

AI that executes within your framework

Within the strategic framework the business has set, an agent fleet runs the capex function end to end, connected to ERP, project management, asset management, procurement and BI via MCP. Humans set direction. Agents do the work.

RESPONSIBLE AI

The standard we hold AI to

The bar for AI in capital decisions is higher than in most software. The standard we set ourselves is simple: every AI capability must be useful, safe, and genuinely wanted by the customer who enables it.

Human framework, agent execution

Strategy and policy are set by people. Agents optimise within that framework. They never define it.

Transparency by design

Every AI action is explainable, traceable and attributable. You can always see what an agent did, on whose authority, and on what data.

Bounded autonomy

Agents operate within scopes, permissions and approval rules the customer defines.

Catch portfolio issues before they are committed.

Customer data is not used to train shared models without explicit opt-in. Integrations flow through secure MCP connectors you control.

GOVERNANCE AND COMPLIANCE

The EU AI Act and your right to choose

The EU AI Act recognises that AI used in capital-decision contexts carries higher stakes than AI used elsewhere. Capabilities of the kind we are building are likely to be classified as high-risk. We welcome that framing. It matches our own view that AI in capex deserves a higher bar for governance, accountability and informed consent.

No AI capability is ever activated without your explicit consent. Customers can turn AI on for specific users, specific workflows or specific environments, and turn it off again at any time.

Granular scope

Enable AI per environment, per module, per agent role, per user group. Different teams can move at different speeds through the shifts above.

Human-in-the-loop where it matters

For approvals, allocations and any decision with financial impact, a person sits between the agent’s recommendation and the committed change. Further delegation is possible, but always a deliberate choice by the customer.

Data opt-in is a separate conversation

Enabling an AI feature is one decision. Allowing your data to improve cross-customer models is another. We never bundle the two.

Documented and disclosed

We publish what each AI capability does, what data it uses, and how it is governed. The people responsible for compliance can review it before anyone enables anything.
